Sweater Day - February 5th

posted Feb 2, 2018, 12:03 PM by Holy Spirit School

This coming Monday is Sweater Day at Holy Spirit.

Global climate is the average climate over the entire planet. And the reason scientists and people like us are concerned is that Earth's global climate is changing. The planet is warming up fast—faster than at any time scientists know about from their studies of Earth's entire history.

This affects all of us. Humans, animals, trees, ocean life, and plants.

We need to raise awareness of climate change. On Monday we will lower the temperature in our school and wear extra sweaters to show Holy Spirit’s awareness of climate change. So please wear your warm sweaters and extra clothing! And please join us as we think of ways to prevent climate change!
